A fractional CPO is a senior product executive who works with your company part-time — typically 2–3 days per week. You get the strategic leadership and experience of a Chief Product Officer without the cost and commitment of a full-time executive hire.
It depends on the scope. Strategy sprints run 4–8 weeks. Fractional CPO engagements typically start at 3 months and often extend to 6–12 months. Studio projects can range from focused multi-week prototypes and assessments to longer 6–12 week builds. I’ll scope the right fit during our initial conversation.
I work best with growth-stage B2B SaaS companies, often from Seed through Series B, that have established traction and are navigating a product inflection point: scaling beyond founder-led product management, expanding from product to platform, introducing AI, or professionalizing the product organization. Funding stage itself isn’t a requirement. Bootstrapped, PE-backed, and otherwise-funded companies facing the same product challenges are also a good fit.
Absolutely. Most engagements are remote or hybrid. I’m experienced working across distributed teams and time zones, and I bring the tools and rituals to make remote product leadership effective.
Pricing depends on the engagement type and scope. Fractional CPO work is typically a monthly retainer. Strategy and studio projects are scoped and priced as fixed-fee engagements. I’ll provide a clear proposal after our initial discovery conversation.
