Our friend also thinks Marley is the best dog in the universe and makes her son tell her so. I took that idea literally, too, and made cosmic superhero portraits of Marley, including one with her son.

I made the comic and portraits entirely with ChatGPT. I started with the story about Marley and the pear and a real photo of her, then kept revising the prompts as the comic took shape. I explored the separate ‘best dog in the universe’ joke through the cosmic portraits, including the image with our friend’s son.
Helped develop and generate the comic and superhero portraits through repeated prompt revisions, using the supplied photographs as references.
The story about Marley and the pear gave me a starting point, but the comic emerged through iteration. Each result gave me something to react to and refine. It was also fun to see how far I could take the ‘best dog in the universe’ joke while keeping Marley recognizable.
